Why does maxi pc suite and pc link not recognize my scanner being connected?

      Have a Maxi Link 619 which I can neither update or print files because it not being recognized by the software. Have tried connecting with supplied USB cable and put the mini card into a card reader.

     Did you figure it out? I am having the same issue with the ML629
